3 Players RCB Can Acquire In IPL 2026 Trade Window
One would think that RCB would not make changes to their winning squad, but here are three that they could in the IPL transfer window
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) became the champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time by winning the 2025 season of the coveted league. Ideally, one would think that they would not make changes to their winning squad. However, as good teams always do, they too would look to make their side even stronger by discarding the non-performers.
Here are the three players that RCB will target in the IPL 2026 trade window to make their squad even stronger.

Glenn Phillips
New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips has been in top form. He was in great touch even before IPL 2025 began, but Gujarat Titans didn’t have him in the playing 11 initially. In the only match that they did play him, the Kiwi man got injured and was ruled out of the remainder of the tournament.

With 265 T20s under his belt, it is only a shame that he has played just eight IPL games. In great form in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025, Phillips will be on the radar of many teams.
Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar’s style of bowling has not got the desired result on the pitches of Delhi. He is more suited for a place like M Chinnaswany Stadium in Bengaluru, where there is swing on offer early on. With Bhuvneshwar and Hazlewood by his side, Mukesh could form a deadly swing trio.

The Bengal bowler has experience of 77 T20s in which he has taken 83 wickets. He would solve the problem of the fourth seamer for RCB as well.
Abhinav Manohar
A local guy in a squad always touches the fan base. RCB did have Manoj Bhandge and a late signing of Mayank Agarwal as Karnataka players, but they could go for Abhinav Manohar too and replace someone like Sawastik Chikara. Since Manohar is a local Karnataka player, he would have more knowledge of the home ground and could come in handy in case he is needed to play.

Currently, Manohar is with SRH, but could be released as SRH themselves would be looking to make a few transfers and acquire others in their place.
